Hidden pages can be used to create space on the bottom pages bar.
If you want to include a large amount of pages, using hidden pages can be an effective way to clean up your app/website.
As you can see in the image below, the bottom pages bar is very crowded, and your users may find it hard to press on the right page. To solve this, you can remove a page from the bottom menu bar and add it as a link somewhere else in your app/website.
